I officially
graduated from
Kwantlen with my
Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree on June 6
th. It was nice to be able to walk across the stage and have that closure. This has been a long hard battle for me and my family so I'm so proud to have survived. A couple years ago, I was faced with the choice of whether or not to go back to the program after my almost fatal surgeries but I
persevered. I have never taken
for granted the love and support from my family and friends. It was their strength that gave me the courage to continue. So, I share this success with all of you. :) And I'd like to dedicate this accomplishment to my Mom who, through all the struggles emerged as my biggest supporter and one of my best friends. Thank you.
Here are some pictures from my graduation. :)

After the ceremony, we all went back to my Mom and Dad's place for Chinese food dinner and cake. It was wonderful to celebrate with people who have supported me.

Back at home. This is the shirt I made for my Mom. It says, "I survived my daughter's nursing degree". :)

Congrats, Christine!
We personally know the President, Skip Triplett of Kwantlen.
Lots of fun times with the Lions too.
Looks like Christine wondered why they all had to share the camera with her.
Looks like Keven enjoyed being with the boys and you taking all the pics.
