Lily's Second Halloween

This year was much like last where we started the evening out at Grandma and Grandpa Mitchler's for dinner. Lily was dressed up as a lamb. We visited The Ratzlaff house and then Great Auntie Elda and Uncle Harvey's house. Then we went to Nana and Grandpa Lengle's to visit some neighbours. Lily REALLY enjoyed it this year. She ooo'd and ahhh'd at all the kids on the streets, the lights and pumpkins. She was even allowed to sample some 'peanut free' treats. Special thanks to Auntie Karen who altered Lily's costume to make it more comfortable (and long enough for out tall girl!).

Scary!
She plopped herself down on their porch and checked out the loot!

Lily wanted to put her treats back into the bowl. She likes to share! :)"Look what I got!"

Carving of the pumpkins

The annual Lengle Pumpkin carving this year was extra special because Grandma and Grandpa Lengle were here from Edmonton for Lily's baptism (Oct.26th). At first Lily was into the pumpkin thing, but then decided she had other things to do.
Lily decided to get out of her highchair and just hang out

And Halloween wouldn't be complete without the icing of the pumpkin cookies (courtesy of Karen's baking). This is the one and only time of year where you'll find the Lengle siblings actually enjoying raisins!

Lily's Favourite Shoes

Lily loves her "Crocs". She can actually put these shoes on herself. It's super cute. She wants to wear them ALL day, even in her pajamas! :)
