Big girl bathtime and meeting the Godfather :)

The other day, I wanted to see what would happen if I put Lily in her bathtub the "big girl way". She did VERY well! She sat up and enjoyed playing with her ducky and other bath toys. We're very proud of our big girl! :)

She kept holding the duck over her shoulder for some reason!

On Wednesday, family gathered to remember Grandma Mitchler. It was a special night for Lily as she got to meet her Godfather, Jeremy, who came in from Alabama for the funeral. We didn't get many pictures together, but I'm sure we'll gather some more up from others who took pictures. We were just so happy to see Jeremy, have him spend time with Lily and to give him a taste of what it's going to be like when HIS little one arrives in the Spring. :)

This is what happens when you let Daddy take pictures. (these are Kevin's feet in Lily's Bumbo seat)

Lily with her Godfather, Jeremy
Lily got to know Jeremy pretty quick. The first time he held her, she cried (mostly cause she just woke up from being in the car). But she started to recognize him and would smile in his presence (as we all do!) :)

This is one of the lilies that Lily and I put on the heart wreath at Grandma's funeral that was held on Thursday. It was very special and we were so blessed to have the time we did with her. Lily was loved so much by her Great Grandmother and Kevin and I will continue to show pictures and tell stories to Lily about her so that she remains alive in our hearts. :)

Playing with her kitty

Who needs siblings when you have a cat?! :)

Moxie started to kick back (nicely, ofcourse!)

Bert and Moxie cuddling after Lily went to bed

Here's video of Lily playing with Moxie. Moxie is so patient with Lily, even when Lily rolls ontop of her. They love each other. :)

A tribute to Lily's Great Grandma Mitchler

Lily's Great Grandma Mitchler (Kevin's Grandma) passed away on Friday, October 19th.
It was such a blessing that Lily got to spend time with her Great Grandma, starting from when she was a week old. Lily will have these pictures to hold onto and cherish and we will remind her often what a beautiful person Great Grandma Mitchler is.
The only pictures I have are from Mother's Day (Lily was 7 days old) and at Brent and Erica's wedding (Lily was almost 19 weeks old). If anyone has more pictures of Lily and Grandma together, I'd love to get them developed and put in Lily's scrapbook. :)
4 generations (Great Grandma, Grandpa, Dad and Lily)

Lily was wearing the sweater and booties Grandma had actually made that Kevin and his brother a long time ago. How special that was.

Holding Lily for the first time.

2 beautiful girls (this is my favourite of all!)
