In Other News...

I know it's been quite a while since our last post, but I thought I'd put it up on the blog that...

We're expecting Baby Mitchler #2!!!
Due: June 5th, 2011

13 weeks

We had a terrible experience for our first ultrasound. The tech was awful and the pictures were worse. But the important thing is, the little bean is healthy!

We told our immediate families on Thanksgiving that we were expecting.

For the Lengle family, we had a shirt made up for Lily and she walked up to Nana and told her to read it...

For the Mitchler's, we knew not everyone would be there at the same time, so we hid the secret until dinner. When we joined hands around the table in prayer, I told everyone Lily had something she wanted to say. Lily said, "Baby!" and I said, "Where?" and Lily pointed to my tummy and said, "In Mommy's tummy!" It was a cute, special moment.

19 weeks!
This ultrasound was amazing! The tech spent a lot of time with us and we got AMAZING pictures!

And, we found out Baby Mitchler #2 is a.....

It's a BOY!

We're very excited that Lily will have a baby brother.
We already have a name picked out, but most of our family and friends want SOMETHING to be a secret! But don't ask Lily if you really don't want to know! She'll spill the beans right away!

Lily is adjusting to the pregnancy really well. We have read her many books about being a big sister and she talks to him every day. Well, mostly just pushes her stuffed animals and toys at my belly and "shows him" her toys. :) She sometimes taps my tummy and says, "Hi baby ___!" It's so sweet to see her interested the baby. She is concerned about how big my tummy is getting, saying
"Baby ____ is getting too big in there! There's no room!" :)

We are going with a midwife for this delivery and will hopefully be delivery at Abbotsford Regional Hospital in early June. Hopefully we won't have to wait as long for this little guy as we did for Lily!

Thank you everyone for your shared joy and happiness. We pray that our pregnancy continues to be smooth and healthy. We are very blessed. :)
