On Saturday, April 14th, my aunts, mom and sister had a baby shower for our little bean for close family and friends. We had it here, at our complex in Abbotsford (thanks to those who drove half a day to get here! LOL).
We had lots of good things to eat. (ie. cubes of cheese were Megan's favourite)
We (well, I guess I) had to open a lot of gifts! Too many! And you all know how much I don't enjoy opening gifts. So many cute yellow and green clothes, diapers, soothers, books, etc. We now have a house full of equipment yet to put up and add batteries to (ie. Pack 'n Play, baby bouncer, etc).
We played games, even though some people didn't want to play. LOL I think I'm gonna post one of my favourites from the acronym game (I hope Mom Mitchler -aka Grandma Mitchler- doesn't mind!) So, basically you had to take one of the potential names of the baby (either Linden Alexander Mitchler or Lily Amilee Mitchler) and come up with an acronym. Here is what Carole wrote:

I cried a couple times during the day, but what else is new! I am constantly overwhelmed by how many blessings we have and how much love we are surrounded by.
Thank you to everyone for a great time. We are definitely prepared for this baby now! So, bring it on! (T- 11 days til due date!)
PS. I'll post pictures from the shower later, when they're developed and then scanned! (LOL, my Mom used her old fashioned camera that actually uses film!)
