On July 1st, Canada Day, we went to Cultas Lake for the morning with the Lengle's for boating and a picnic. Lily LOVED the water and seemed to enjoy the boat more this year.

After Cultas Lake, we spent the evening at Larry and Maureen McKinney's Canada Day party! It was a great BBQ with great friends. :)

We threw a surprise 51st birthday party for my Mom, cause she didn't get a big party for her 50th. We set up things in their backyard while Dad stalled her with errands. We're so glad we got to surprise her. She deserved it! :)

We took Lily camping to
Alouette Lake in the
Mitchler's trailer. It was luxurious for us! Running water and a toilet!! We had a great time down at the lake and around camp.

On the hottest day of the summer, we were struggling to keep Lily cool. So I set up a water station at the picnic table. Just some bowls, cups, utensils and water= a good time!
