About the pregnancy...

• had morning sickness (that should be renamed ALL DAY sickness!) for the first 3 months
• itchy feet!
• sensitive to certain smells like BBQ sauce! Yuck!
• cravings: Subway veggie sandwiches, tacos, sausage McMuffins, cheese whiz, etc
• heard baby's heart beat for the first time at 15 weeks
• first ultrasound at 18 weeks (baby turned over and waved at Mom and Dad!)
• very emotional (crying at tv commercials, etc)
• started to really show at around 20 weeks
• felt the baby move in my belly at around 5 months
• baby reacts to Dad's voice
• Dad first felt baby move on Jan. 23rd (26 weeks)
• baby spends a lot of time on the left side of my belly
• hard to sleep, as I'm used to sleeping half on my tummy
• baby moves around the most when I'm lying down or when listening to the song, "Hotel California" by The Eagles (for some strange reason)

We're pregnant!

On August 23rd, I took 2 pregnancy tests that turned out POSITIVE!
I told Kevin by taping the two tests to our bathroom mirror and wrote with a felt, "See you in 9 months, Daddy! Love The Baby"
He laughed and said, "Look what we did!"
We went out for dinner the next night and Kevin bought me roses.
The next people I told were Karen and Gail and wanted to keep it a secret from the family for a bit longer.
We told Grandpa and Grandma Lengle by showing them a slideshow DVD that we made with our wedding photos that had a baby picture at the end with the quote, "See you in 9 months".
We told Grandpa and Grandma Mitchler by doing the same, but then went to a family dinner (Tanya's birthday) and Kevin made Auntie Elda take a picture of us two, and he said, "Everyone say.... Christine's pregnant!"
Everyone was excited and happy to hear the news. This will be the first grandchild on both sides of the family. :)

In the beginning...

In the beginning, there were 2...

Christine and Kevin.

(Oh, and their 2 fur babies, Bert and Moxie)

They got married on May 13th, 2006.

And decided to start their family in August 2006.

Their new arrival is due April 30th, 2007!
