On August 23rd, I took 2 pregnancy tests that turned out POSITIVE!I told Kevin by taping the two tests to our bathroom mirror and wrote with a felt, "See you in 9 months, Daddy! Love The Baby"
He laughed and said, "Look what we did!"
We went out for dinner the next night and Kevin bought me roses.
The next people I told were Karen and Gail and wanted to keep it a secret from the family for a bit longer.
We told Grandpa and Grandma Lengle by showing them a slideshow DVD that we made with our wedding photos that had a baby picture at the end with the quote, "See you in 9 months".
We told Grandpa and Grandma Mitchler by doing the same, but then went to a family dinner (Tanya's birthday) and Kevin made Auntie Elda take a picture of us two, and he said, "Everyone say.... Christine's pregnant!"
Everyone was excited and happy to hear the news. This will be the first grandchild on both sides of the family. :)
