August 2009

We started August off by going to the Agrifair where Grandpa M was going to be showing off his tractor. We watched the parade of machinery and watched the Lumberjack show. It was a great afternoon, complete with pie!!

Thanks goodness we took this video right before our camera died!

On the Monday of the long weekend, we took Lily to White Rock beach for some fun in the sun and fish and chips lunch!

Lily and Daddy looking for shells

Her favourite bucket and shovel
She LOVED running back and forth in the water! And finding little shells

Some of the treasures she found. She was so proud

Bathing suite time!

Auntie Karen showed up and THEN it was a party! :)

Playing in the mucky sand

Lily kept handing A.Karen the mucky sand

So very girly

Her first steps in the ocean. She walked right in!!

I had to take this picture. The Lengle siblings met up at Mom and Dad's house for dinner while they were on their vacation, and Lily demanded popcorn with her movie. It would have made Grandpa L really proud! :)

I took this video for my Mom cause she was on vacation while I started potty training Lily. I didn't want my Mom to miss out on this important step. So, I guess I'll share it with everyone. :) Here's Lily in the middle of her potty training showing you here potty routine.

Lily's new favourite activity is Play Doh.
Here is her snake. We thought it was very nicely decorated!

The purple and yellow one is a "castle" as she stated.
The Mom and Kids group that meets up on Tuesdays during the summer, headed to White Pine beach in Port Moody. It was a perfect day for sand and swimming.

Lily, Ella and Merrick sharing very nicely

Naomi and Liam arguing over the right to eat sand

Lily is suited up and ready to go

Playing in the little puddle and throwing rocks

Merrick had no fear of the water. He fell in face first often :)

Merrick and Lily playing in the puddle
What a cutie!

Lily helped by "rounding up" Merrick when he would take off.
The 3rd Annual Lengle Siblings' (and their significant others') Camping Weekend Extravaganza was held at Cultus Lake again this year, but at different sites. And this year, we had the luxury of being baby free, as Grandpa and Nana L took Lily for the weekend. They came up on Saturday with the boat and spent the day with us. This is one of the funnest traditions we have. :)

Lily wanted to be a big girl and tube like the bigger kids. This is as close as she got. ;)
Again, our camera died, so this was all he pictures I took. :(
