We can't believe our little girl is 2!!
We celebrated on Saturday May 2nd with immediate family at our place. We had a Princess Party, as one of Lily's favourite things are princesses. Here are some of the pictures and videos from her birthday party.
Thanks to our family for making Lily feel so special on her birthday: Great Grandma Pudleiner, Sam, Nana and Grandpa Lengle, Grandma and Grandpa Mitchler, Auntie Karen, Auntie Megan, Uncle Bryan and Uncle Brent.
Our little princess :)
She didn't even notice the tiara most of the day.
Princess balloons and the dinner table decorations
Princess Ariel bubble blower
Loving the beads!!
So happy with the little things
Auntie and Uncle helping put things in bags
She LOVES balloons! She got Grandpa Lengle to cut them off the bouquet so she could play with them!
She said, "Aww... cute" when she saw this outfit!
Wanting to throw rocks in the water
Dinner time! BBQ hamburgers and hotdogs and lots of veggies.
Opening presents: Uncle Brent and Auntie Erica got her an awesome book and her new favourite stuffed animal... a tiger that she has named "Dragon"

Cake time. She hated being sung to but it was cute.
Riding in the wagon from Mommy and Daddy
She thinks she's a big girl and she doesn't need to be in a stroller, so this was the next step. :)
Nana had to pull her around the room numerous times.
Great Grandma and Sam at the party
Lily wasn't interested

On Lily's "real" birthday (May 6th), Auntie Karen and Mommy took Lily to White Rock beach for a walk on the pier and a fish and chips lunch. It is now a tradition. :)
The weather held up until lunchtime so we were very lucky. Thank you Auntie Karen for taking the day off to enjoy the day with us!! Love you!
Lily was sooo happy to see A.Karen!!
Lily was lining up her favourite rocks of the day

She had no inhibitions about running towards the water and leaving us behind

Not wanting to leave the beach
Last year on her first birthday I took some pictures of Lily sitting on this plaque by the Forget-me-nots. So, we took some pictures this year too.
Picking the flowers.
Walking on the pier
Lily was fine running on the pier until A.Karen showed her what's between the cracks. She was very cautious after that. Karen has now passed down her own childhood fear. :)
