Catching up from November (and some of December)

Moxie somehow managed to SEVER her Achilles tendon on her left hind leg. Lily was the one who found her bleeding and will tell anyone the story that will listen. It was a traumatizing time for all of us, dealing with surgery, multiple splints and making decisions. Poor Moxie has come through it all and is finally almost walking normally.

Lily offering Moxie a "fried egg" to make her feel better.

Another egg for Moxie. Lily knows that protein is important for healing.

The second splint, as she pulled off the first.

December 1st Lily and Momma went out and bought a fake tree.
Lily was not impressed with putting up decorations. She put up one.

Trying to put the star on the top

Still trying.

Our beautiful Canucks Christmas tree.

Was there ever a doubt what kind of tree we would have?!

Moxie's new favourite spot.

I found Lily colouring quietly like this...

I asked her what she was drawing. She said, "Santa".
