Christmas Day 2008

Kevin and I woke Lily up early on Christmas morning at Grandpa and Grandma Mitchler's to venture off to Nana and Grandpa Lengle's. It had snowed so much we were nervous we wouldn't make it. Especially since Kevin and I stayed in our jammas! I was worried I'd have to push the car in my pink pajamas! Thankfully we made it!

Merry Christmas! (early morning hair)
Christmas morning at the Lengle's
This was the first Christmas we spent in the "new house". In this main room, there was the "pretty tree" where we opened the presents. :)

It's Lengle tradition to open stockings first

She loved this shirt so much she made us put it on her!

Hurry up! :)

My Dad still loves buying toys for us. He says they're from "Bad Santa". :) It's fun.
John and Megan got Mario Kart remote control Go Carts!

Karen got a vacuum :)
Jer got a Storm Troopers helmet
Bryan (and Keith) got guns
Nana got a Backyardigans boat that goes in the tub (she was complaining that she doesn't have any bath toys for Lily when she's over)
Lily got a Mickey Mouse Lego set
And I got a butterfly that flies around the room. I'll post a video of it another time.
Ernie and Mowgli (Karen and Jeremy's cats)
The "Junk" tree ( this tree has all my Dad's Star Trek and Star Wars ornaments on it, as well as sentimental bulbs from when each of us kids were born)

Because it snowed so much, we decided to take Lily out in the toboggan to a park that's right down the street.

We had an awesome dinner at the Lengle's. We watched The Grinch together as well. At the end of the evening, Kevin and I wanted to take Lily to see the Mitchler side of the family at Harvey and Elda's. Santa showed up!

Fun times! Just love first look in the morning photos of Lily. I'm sure she will want to hide them when she gets older.
Love
